Max Milan General Session 2

I'm in the general session 2 and the wifi is still crap, and I've just got on 10 minutes into the session.

It started with Tim Buntell showing some code, and then getting a very message from "The Cheif" and then appears Ben Forta in a Men in Black style to show some new features of CS4 including some very cool flash stuff. I hope now that my Live Blogging will work today,

Cool feature in Photoshop CS4 with resizing an image and it knows the background from the photo so eeps everything else in perspective.

Seeing that Flash Catalyst is in Eclipse and how sweet it looks. Looks like a CS4 product not an eclipse product. I have create hopes for Bolt! With these guys!

Flex Builder 4 is able to lookinto the live function on CF Server and so will show the functions available. This is the same for all Web Services.

Without writing code (Which is a god send) Tim has shown how to call a Web Service and return the data and populate grids in Flex.

Flex Builder 4, will let you set functions on the client to call functions on the server. So you can quickly make a datagrid update and edit and save to teh DB its very quick and easy.
