Monthly Thought: Weclome to 2008, Welcome to the New Look Blog

So I'm 4 days late, but Happy New Year one and all!

To go with the New year I decided I would spend a little more time on the design of my blog, so for the last few weeks I have searched the net looking for a few free designs that I liked. (Being a developer my design skills suck!)

As we are all different I couldn't find one I liked totally but I stumbled across Designs by Darren Where I found two designs I liked the News Portal and the Tech blog so I merged the parts I liked and now have what you see. Which I hope is a lot better looking then the last Irn-Bru looking one.

Monthly Thought: It's been nearly 10 years so spell it right.........

....... while advertising for the Position here at work I have noticed that people don't spell ColdFusion correctly yes there is no space and yes it's a capital F.

Ok, Versions 1-3 were called Cold Fusion but since Version 4.0 (1998) it has been ColdFusion so there is no need for anyone to miss spell it any more. 10 Years next year!

Friday Thought: Now Monthly Thought: Conferences

Ok, I've been slacking of late, but I just haven't had the time. So from now I will have a monthly thought on the first Friday of the month.

So the first is the fact that we have announce the Ticket Prices for Scotch on the Rocks 2008

ᆪ199 + VAT - Early Bird (Available until February 29th 2008)

ᆪ299 + VAT - Full Price

We are also making available a Company Flexi Pass, which allows you to send a different person each day of the conference. Who you send is entirely up to you (note that only one person can use this pass at any one time.

ᆪ299 + VAT - Early Bird (Available until February 29th 2008)

ᆪ399 + VAT - Full Price

Additional Group pricing will be made available soon.

Oh and of course we have a fun video to go with it:

With the announcement of the Ticket Prices AndyJ has done a quick comparison of the prices.

So next year looks great for all us Adobe Developers in Europe and now that there is a Developer Relations Team for EMEA we should all be happier ;)
