I ho I ho it's off to work I go! And I'm shattered already :D

Today is my first day back in the office after two weeks off for XMAS, Why two weeks off? Because the next 3 months are going to manic in the office, so I thought I'd best have a rest before hand.

As I mentioned on Friday I've decided this is going to be my year to get a little bit fitter. So today's starting weight is 149 kg (23.46 stones in old money) Yes I know way too big by anyone's standard even a WWE Wrestler.

So on Saturday I took my brothers bike (Been sitting round my Mum & Dads for months now) to the cycle shop for a service all seems to be ok two new cables and brake pads but sorted for ᆪ40 so I'm happy. I rode to the train station yesterday for Rugby to see how long it takes and it's about 7 minutes quicker then walking. But I certainly do get my exercise out of it carry all that weight and with my rucksack with Mac Book Pro it certainly all adds up. So again I rode to the station this morning and I'm now sitting on the train recovering with a bottle of water boy didn't I need it?

So as I said before I have a friendly bet with Toby Tremayne to lose 12.7 Kg / 2 Stones by June, he has informed me of his starting weight which I don't feel obliged to state here, I also have a fellow Scotch on the Rocks 2008 organiser (Jatin) who will do nothing but hassle me about what I eat, when I eat and if I'm going to meet Jim with Mr X Trainer and Mrs R Ower.

Which reminds me, I thought I should join a gym local to work. I found one that has a swimming pool (Small One I believe but that's all I need) Since starting my new position I currently have no Healthcare first time in 9 years, so I thought I would take a look around. I found Pru Health where you can have a free gym membership (And the one by work is included) if you go at least twice a week. The cost is ᆪ38 a month, and seeing that the gym was going to be ᆪ44 a month I've saved ᆪ6 and I get healthcare. I'm just waiting on them to approve my request to join them, then get the Paperwork and then I'm up and running in the gym as well.

So here's to a wonderful year all round, and I have a new project in the pipelines, which hopefully will be released next Monday 14th January. Keep your eyes peeled.
